During the 2006 Osage Nation elections, two thirds of voters approved the Osage Constitution. The Osage Nation filed an application for a 63-acre piece of land to be used for an Indian gaming hotel. The site is located near Highways 99 and 60. This land will be used to build a casino hotel with a pool and a spa. It is expected to open in November of 2023. The new casino will replace the existing Osage casino in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.

In February of 2016, the Osage Nation filed an application with the U.S. Interior Department for a 63-acre piece of property. This property is located across the street from the existing Osage casino and will replace it. This new casino will have 250 gaming machines, a 47-room hotel, a pool, a spa, and a fitness center. It will also have a jackpot every hour. This jackpot has a minimum of $250,000.

In January of 2017, the Osage Nation announced that it would be holding the 2022 Sovereignty Day Celebration in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This celebration was scheduled for March 19, 2022.
